Founded in 1969, Richard Jay is an internationally recognised business providing equipment service, sales and repairs, chemical manufacturing, distribution and dispensing solutions to long-term large-scale corporations through to independent startups.

A new opportunity has recently become available for a candidate to fulfill a position with Richard Jay at its Adelaide based warehouse. This role is multifaceted and would suit a person new to starting their career or someone looking to make a change and learn new skills. The role would require the candidate to have a current car license and own transport, the ability to obtain (if not already obtained), forklift licence and other supporting licenses associated with warehouse and trade assistant work in due time.

Experience is favourable but not necessary, the ideal candidate will be selected based on their ability to demonstrate:

• High levels of organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Some mechanical/electrical aptitude/experience
• Proficient computer skills including the use of the Microsoft suite of programmes

Duties entailed to this role include (but not limited to)

• Provide assistance in the field to our service technician team
• Packing and logistical organisation of large-scale units to clients
• Booking and tracking couriers by phone or online
• Drop off/pick up goods from clients or local suppliers or local trades
• Receiving and checking of goods
• Maintenance of warehouse and workbench area
• Any other activities or duties that are required by Management
