On behalf of our newly acquired Australian Family Business - SYMBIO - you will be joining an existing team which comes from various trade-related backgrounds to provide installation solutions to our customers in and around Southeast Queensland.
About the Role: Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient installation, maintenance and repair of our chemical dispensing systems across commercial laundry and hospitality dishwashing clients.
This is a field-based role requiring strong technical aptitude, time management and a commitment to exceptional customer service. This role also requires helping the business to sell more by identifying opportunities with clients in the field, passing on leads and recommending chemical solutions.
You will work autonomously to troubleshoot equipment issues, providing on-site solutions and ensuring optimal system performance. You will also have attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer service skills, with a focus on time management, demonstrated planning and organising skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and the ability to work either in a team or on your own.

Must haves: - QLD current Driver’s License

Job Requirements: - Provide Exceptional Customer Service
- Interest in understanding how things work and how to fix machines
- Previous service and maintenance experience with any kind of plant or equipment
- Interest in or experience with installation and commissioning of equipment
- Knowledge of the industry is an advantage but not essential
- Basic computer skills a must
- Assertive attitude with a willingness to seek out and ask questions
- Well-developed capabilities in error and problem analysis
- Troubleshooting skills
- Working autonomously under limited supervision

Key Role: • Installation and Configuration – Install and configure detergent chemical dispensing hardware • Equipment Removal – Uninstall detergent chemical dispensing hardware as required • Troubleshooting and Repair – Diagnose and repair malfunctions of chemical dispensing hardware • Route Planning – Optimize service routes to efficiently manage maintenance schedule • Customer Support – Provide technical assistance and support to customers • Inventory Management – Maintain accurate records of equipment and parts inventory • Stocktaking – Conduct regular stock takes of equipment and supplies • Subcontractor Management – Coordinate with external contractors for specialised tasks • Service Reporting – Complete detailed service reports for each job • Safety Compliance – Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations and procedures • Additional Duties – Perform other tasks as assigned What you get: - Great wages and conditions negotiable depending on experience
