Richard Jay is an internationally recognised Group providing laundry, warewashing and chemical solutions for Hospitality, Health & Aged Care, Government, laundromat investors, mining and facilities management.

 

This full-time position will be joining our existing team which provides laundry solutions to our customers Australia wide.

  • You will be responsible for identifying and generating new business as well as maintaining existing customer relationships.
  • You will drive and support the team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, while increasing margin and market share.
  • You will have excellent communication and customer service skills with a focus on time management.
  • You will have demonstrated high level planning and organisational skills.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Outstanding sales and people management skills.
  • A successful history in solution, commercial or industrial sales. (Experience in selling capital equipment would be an advantage but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to implement and manage an effective territory plan.
  • Tertiary training in Business, Management or Technical background (we sell big machines).
  • At least 5 years leading a team. We have outbound and in-bound sales teams.
  • Demonstrated curious mindset, open-mindedness and a winning attitude.
  • Thick skin - it is a competitive industry, and the stakes are high.

The role requires a strong focus on accountability, ensuring the broader team is aligned, engaged, trained, and delivering measurable outcomes consistent with budget expectations and overall business performance objectives.
